spring 2012 art in motion - commercial dance emphasis
The spring semester AIM company focuses on the development of performance qualities and emphasizes the entertainment value of dance. It culminates in two performances - the Point B Dance Carnival which will be held on Friday and Saturday May 4th and 5th. Auditions are held in January for the Spring company. FAll art in motion - concert dance emphasis
The Fall semester AIM company focuses on the development of a strong technical base and emphasizes the artistic value of dance. It culminates in two performances - one in October at Point B Dance's B Moved Concert Dance show and an optional performance in February at a local choreographer's showcase. Auditions will be held on Thursday, August 18th from 5:30-8:30pm for the Fall Company.

art in motion Apprentice Company
The Art In Motion apprentice Company is designed for dancers ages 14 through 18 years old who are prepared to explore the artistic as well as the performance side of dance. Dancers will be trained in a modern based technique and instruction will emphasize musicality, groundedness, and purity of movement intention. The dancers will work toward attending and performing at a convention/showcase in February of 2012. They will also perform at an end of the semester performance in May or June.
