New Classes at Point B Dance - ___________________________________________________________________________________

Tuesdays 7:30- 9:00pm - Open High School Jazz:
Carly’s open jazz class will concentrate on the technical development of jazz dance in various styles. The class is open and the price is $10.00 per class or $70.00 for the entire 8 week session. (Point B class cards cannot be used for this class). The dates will be Mar. 2, 9, 23, 30 and April 6,13, 20, 27. Please tell your friends and relatives that are in high school about this class!!

Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:30pm – Turns and Leaps:
Cathy’s turns and leaps class will be specially designed for those auditioning for dance teams in the spring. You may pay either by the class or with your class card for the turns and leaps class.
 

JAZZ CLASS WITH GUEST TEACHER - AMANDA MALLOY
When: Wednesday, March 10th 6:30-7:30pm
Cost: $8.00 per class or use your 10-class or Unlimited class card

Amanda, originally from Topeka, KS, grew up studying all types of dance and competing in various cities around the U.S. which eventually led to apprenticing for Tremaine Dance Conventions under the direction of Desiree Robbins. She was also awarded a scholarship to Gil Stroming’s ‘Break the Floor’ in N.Y.C. & participated in Dee Caspary’s ‘The Shoot’ in Los Angeles. After high school, her passion for dance continued and led her to being a member of Elite Nationals Dance Team for a year and then on to Los Angeles, CA to take on the auditioning world. After being a finalist for the EDGE scholarship program and L.A. Clippers dance team, she auditioned for Holland America Cruise Lines/Stiletto Entertainment based in L.A. Amanda danced and traveled to Hawaii and Alaska for a year onboard the M/S Zaandam & loved it! Last summer she danced for Six Flags in St. Louis, and this past fall she was a dancer for the prestigious Shoji Tabuchi Christmas show in Branson.
